This blog is another opportunity to feel grateful. Thank you, dear Universe, you continue to bless me with recovery and health.

The views expressed in this blog post are a matter of personal belief and opinion.

My story goes back to the days in 2016 when I was diagnosed with a rare disease called Isaacs’ Syndrome. Isaacs’ is a neuromuscular health condition that stems from muscle hyperactivity. In the process, I also discovered that I had Lyme disease. Lyme is a bacterial illness that gets transmitted through ticks.

Glaucoma also accompanied me. Glaucoma is an eye-related disease that damages the optic nerves. And Membranous Glomerulonephritis is a progressive kidney disease. I faced tremendous issues with my gut, stomach acid, and digestive enzymes. During my journey, I also developed Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Diabetes, Frozen Shoulder, Eczema and Blood Pressure.

The way the extrinsic stimulus unfolded evoked a shocking biological response for me. As you might surmise, these diagnoses altered the course of my life irrevocably. Suddenly, I was sitting on my bed with packets of pills stacked up nearby and every day revolving around managing chronic symptoms. Despite all the required support, I struggled to see a way forward. It felt like I lost myself.

Why everything turned around in a fraction of a second? I poured out all my despair and hurt feelings at God. One question that popped up on the screen of my mind was – why me?

I think it was that genuine quest to know more about the subject that possibly, showed up with solutions.

That meeting with him was mere fate!!

Relationship between Karmic Debt and Health

It was my last meeting with my doctor who was highly regarded in the fraternity of Neurologists. Late Dr. Ashok Panagariya (a neurologist, medical researcher, Padma Shri, and B.C Roy awardee. He also served as the President of the Indian Academy of Neurology and authored over ninety publications in journals.

He said words that captivated a touch of mystery and a sense of intrigue!!

He asked if I believed in God.

I said ”very much Sir”.

Though his sparkling eyes wanted to say much more, but languages have limitations. He said ”this is out of mere experience that I share this with you. Always remember, that you are in God’s unimaginably vast territory, which is way beyond the limitation of science”. He briefly spoke about karmic debt.

It was so unexpected.

His eyes held the wisdom, and I couldn’t deny the intuitive insight. He hinted and engaged my attention to something considerable. The expression was healing enough to infuse a sense of purpose and made me inquisitive to explore much about the subject.

The idea of this article is to delve into the potential influence of karmic debt on one’s well-being. It wouldn’t be wrong to assume that our karma has similarities to Newton’s third law of motion. This law says how our actions are associated with an equal and opposite reaction.

Though the motif of karma and karmic debt is extremely vast, but I wish to touch upon my experience with the recurring subject.

Karmic debt is the accumulated, unresolved karma or deeds from our past actions. It acts like an energetic residue that one carries from one lifetime to another. This energy has the power to influence our current experiences including health.

Karmic Debt

Karmic Debt is a concept that originates from cultural, personal, and spiritual traditions. It particularly comes from Hinduism and Buddhism and holds importance in philosophical beliefs.

Karma has strong relations with Health and Rare Diseases

It is important to understand that the concept of karmic debt originates from the ancient principle of Karma.

Karma is a Sanskrit term and the literal meaning of it is action or deed. It is believed that our words, actions, and even thoughts have direct consequences on our present and future lives. These actions or deeds could be good or bad and return to us in kind. It is also believed that as one releases past baggage, they can create new opportunities to flourish.

Acknowledging and addressing our karmic debt is an important act for personal growth. By agreeing to these patterns, we take responsibility for our actions. Clearing up past and present debts can lead to a deeper sense of being.

There are some key signs that one suffers from karmic debt. It includes various challenges with severe health issues with few medical explanations. Also, unexplained sense of phobias and fears, ups and downs in relationships, etc.

The concept isn’t universally accepted as it lacks scientific evidence. Scientific research’s key focus is on observed evidence and the concept of karmic debt is a spiritual concept. Having an understanding of spiritual and cultural belief systems can be therapeutic. However, there is a growing interest in exploring its impact on different spheres of life.

It doesn’t matter how one looks at this concept as its impact on health remains an area of introspection.

Among an Unforgetful Experience while trying to Equate my Karmic Debt

Initially, I was skeptical about sharing my real-life experience. However, readers who agree with the concept of karma would comprehend the message.

The Healing Karma

How do I repay her debt?

Cow took away my rare disease

The only answer I could think of was, by sharing information and helping others.

Among other consequential remedies, bonding with a cow was the closest I got, trying to burn my karmic debt.

Despite all the efforts including the best of medicines and treatments, the shadows of my past loomed over me, limiting my present.

This is among those experiences when I intuitively felt steps closer to getting healthier. In 2021 I was snuggled in a picturesque town for my treatment. My Ayurvedic doctors advised a holistic approach to healing including energy work. Even they sensed and felt the weight of Karma and its debt. To begin with, they asked me to start feeding the cows and establish a bond with them.

I could instantly correlate with those powerful words of Dr. Panagariya.

In my neighborhood lived a cow called Devi. She justified her name; in Sanskrit it means goddess. She was docile with a regal presence and a grandeur that was hard to ignore.

Initially, I began with limited activities to avoid closeness with Devi due to her sheer size. However, she was quite affectionate from day one. It’s difficult to articulate, and beyond imagination how we instantly bonded.

Cow took away my illness and rare disease

I fed her with bananas and jaggery and she graciously allowed me to hug her. I think within a couple of days her calming effect started to work on my health. Each day, I looked forward to hearing the chewing sound she produced and realized how even this mere activity made me feel so happy, blessed, and lighter.

I believe that God has his ways of showering grace and therefore meeting her was a game-changer.

I noticed that she even had long-distance visitors on weekends. I was told that people believed in her ordained powers to absorb karmic debts.

What a coincidence!

Indeed, the supreme power often aligns things in mysterious ways, even when we least expect it. The right solutions present themselves.

Days turned into weeks and weeks into months, and our bonding grew stronger. She continued her healing work, and each of our acts added to my karmic ledger.

Our mind is which only accepts a structured framework for scientific explanations. To be honest, there were days when I felt lost.

Was it only our belief? or was all of it making any sense?

With time, it was unbelievable how my list of alien diverse symptoms reduced and so did my medicines and intense treatments. I saw a drastic reduction in body stiffness, weakness, and breathlessness. I could sit for longer hours due to the strengthened spinal column. I felt relief from my frozen shoulder and increased mobility.

With my physical dynamics, I saw my thoughts change too.

Now, I strongly believe that my journey wasn’t only about relief from health issues but also about solving the entangled threads of destiny.

I pray and hope that cows are and will help many more in need.

Slowly, my journey essentially became about understanding my limitations. I started to rediscover and find the fortitude to unravel the layers of mystery surrounding my condition. Being fearless of what I might discover. I knew I had to reconfigure the programming of my life, and I had to tune out a lot of the chatter inside my head to do so. Again, and again, I had to make room for newer perceptions and further acceptance, without losing the zest to recover.

Is there an Influence of Karmic Debt on Health?

It is quite a fascinating concept.

It is suggested that we carry various energies of our past actions into our present lives. When unsettled, these energies intrude and can manifest into ways to unfold. These ways come in the form of chronic health problems, and emotional struggles.

When we get stuck in undefined and repetitive patterns and discomforts it’s a sign of karmic debt. Also, unexplained phobias, anxieties, fears, and mental issues are linked to karmic debt. Health problems leading to unclear medical justifications and also unproportionate life responses can be a part of energetic imbalances.

Today, science focuses on emotions and stress as it has become a part of our daily lives. However, spiritual angels and intellect give us a deeper understanding of the subject. The crux is that solving our ingrained problems can lead to well-being, whether it happens through science or spirituality.

Ways to Release Karmic Debt

I’m not an expert on the subject, however, breaking free of negative karmic patterns through mindfulness can go a long way. Practices such as meditation, energy healing, forgiveness, and acts of kindness can promote karmic cleansing.

Conclusion

Karma is all about creating, recreating, healing, and transcending as humans. It is a Sanskrit term that means action or deed. It is believed that our words, actions, and even thoughts have direct consequences on our present and future lives.

Karmic Debt is a concept that originates from cultural, personal, and spiritual traditions.

Through my story, I wish to re-emphasize that the law of karmic debt is inevitable and once we attempt to understand it better, things start changing. Therefore, if we want a meaningful life, it’s important to cultivate positive karma. Self-awareness plays a very crucial role in enabling intentional growth. Positive energy, sharing resources, forgiveness, acts of kindness, and honesty can go a long in building good karma.

Each of us may have experienced several crises in our lives, about which others may have little or no clue, let alone understanding.

The unresolved karmic debt keeps coming back until one addresses it. Whether you believe in karmic debt or not, even now, you are leaving your carbon footprints, and the cycle is on.
